William Edward Ellison, 79, of Princeton, passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
Born in New Brunswick, William initially lived in Edison. After working hard for forty years he retired in the early 2000s to Princeton. He was an avid outdoorsman skilled in fishing, hunting, and gardening. His passion for landscaping and cultivating plants is clear to anyone that visits his home. Always seeking to learn new crafts, he was a master model builder and a self-taught taxidermist. He enjoyed cruises and trips to Atlantic City with his family. Above all else, he was a beloved husband, father and family man and he adored all of his grandchildren.
He is survived by his bride of almost 60 years, Elizabeth Anne King; his daughters, Diane Amaro and Sharon Ellison; his grandchildren, Amanda Milazzo and Kayla and Julia Amaro, and; a great-grandson, AJ Watrous.
Cremation is private. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Spotswood Funeral Home.
