Cynthia Mattie Harrigfeld-Ziola

Cynthia M. Harrigfeld-Ziola, 64, of Spotswood passed away January 8, 2019 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy.

Born in Elizabeth, Cynthia was raised in Spotswood, eventually settling in South Amboy. After graduating from Middlesex County Vocational and Technical School, East Brunswick campus, Cynthia entered the United States Air Force where she was stationed in Texas. Following military service, Cynthia was employed as a hair stylist for several area salons.

Cynthia was a member of The Spotswood Reformed Church. She was a member of The American Legion Post 62, South Amboy and also The Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 253, Spotswood.

Predeceased by her father, George Harrigfeld and two twin infant siblings, Cynthia is survived by her husband, Arnold Ziola, her daughter, Hope Rodrigue, her mother, Eunice Harrigfeld, her step children, Christine and Steven Ziola, her siblings, Russell Harrigfeld and his wife, Julia and Scott Harrigfeld and his wife, Keisha, grandchildren, Jayme Reid, Sairah Ziola, Storm Homer Harrigfeld, Skylar Harrigfeld Hurley, Jayde Rodrigue, Rayven Rodrigue and Odin Rodrigue, her nephew Shawn Harrigfeld and his wife Sheri and great nephew John and, her niece Megan Kizer and her husband Brandon and great nephew Corbin.

Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood. Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Franklin Memorial Park Cemetery, North Brunswick.
