Deanna Bobash Obituary

Deanna Rita Bobash, "Dee" 78, of Sayreville passed away peacefully at home on June 16, 2019, surrounded by her family.

Born in Baltimore, MD, Dee resided in East Brunswick prior to settling in Sayreville.  Dee started out as a mortgage processor at Margaretten & Company, then The Berg Agency, becoming an executive secretary to Kenneth Berg, at Berg Enterprises, and finishing her 31 year career at J.P. Morgan Chase as an executive secretary.

She loved spending time fishing, traveling and was especially fond of spending time with her grandchildren, attending many of their sporting events, musical and dance performances.  She treasured the family gatherings at her Aunt Mary's house for crab fests and competitive pinochle games.  The fact that she was known to many as "Mom Dee"  tells you something about her welcoming nature, kind and generous heart.

Predeceased by her parents, Margaret and George Hock and her husband, John Bogus, Jr., she is survived by her sons, Keith Bobash, and his wife Kathleen of East Brunswick, Kirk Bobash and his wife Dorothy Urquhart of Flemington, and Kelly Ortt and his wife Janice of East Brunswick, her treasured five grandchildren; Kyle Bobash, Nikki Ortt, Michael Bobash, Cassidy Ortt, and George Urquhart.  She is also survived by John's children; Frances Bogus of Sayreville, and Susan Osija and her husband Shawn of Dayton, and grandchildren: Timothy Bogus, Paul Fortin and Tyler Forrai.

Cremation was private.  A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 12 noon at Spotswood Reformed Church, 429 Main Street, Spotswood, N.J. All are invited to join the family at a luncheon for both Deanna and John immediately following the Memorial Service at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 30 Crescent Avenue, Spotswood.
