Eileen Gahrmann Obituary

Eileen A. Gahrmann (nee McGinty) passed away peacefully the morning of August 29, 2018.

Born in Queens, New York in November of 1923, Eileen was the devoted wife of Gustav E. Garrmann (1923-2007) for 64 years. She was a loving mother to her children, Thomas (Colleen), Virginia (Bruce Rose) and Dennis, her grandchildren, Dylan/Sarah, Eli and Aydin Rose, Mara and Mia Gahrmann were her greatest source of joy and pride. She is a beloved sister-in-law, aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews (Gahrmann and McGinty).

Having lived in Spotswood, New Jersey for more than 23 years, Eileen retired from her position as a Tax Examiner with the IRS for 20 years, and moved with her husband to Sun City West, Arizona. She has been living in Greenwich, Connecticut since 2004.

A private funeral at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, with burial beside her husband at Calverton National Military Cemetery has been arranged..
