John J. Argenziano, 92, of Spotswood passed away September 15 at Veterans Administration Health Care System, Bernards Township.
Born in Manhattan, John was raised during the great depression.
John was a lifelong Spotswood resident. Following high school, he was drafted into The United States Army, completing a tour in Europe. John was in active combat during World War II. In earlier years, John enjoyed the skies as an amateur pilot. John cherished the fact that he met and married his loving wife, Michelina while visiting relatives in Italy.
Prior to his retirement, John was a senior mason for local 35. He loved classical music and was an avid reader. Above all, John was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him. ,
Predeceased by his wife Michelina in 1986, John is survived by his son, Tim, daughter, Michelina Boruch and her husband, Gregory, and his grandsons, Gregory and Evan Boruch. ,
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 18th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood. A funeral mass will be said Wednesday, September 19th at 10:15 AM at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Spotswood Entombment will be Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick.
