Michael J. Cuaderno

Michael Jeff Cuaderno, 18, of Spotswood, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in New Brunswick.

Born in Secaucus, Michael was raised in Spotswood. He graduated Spotswood High School with Honors in 2017 and went on to study Computer Science at Rutgers University, where he would have started his sophomore year this September. While in high school, Michael was a member of the Track and Field team, which he joined during middle school, the Community Service Club and the Hack Space Computer Club. He was an avid online gamer and a loyal fan of the NY Giants. He was a dear friend that touched the lives of many and a great influence to all that knew him, especially his brother Mark, with whom he was very close.

Predeceased by his grandparents, Lorenzo and Esperanza Perez and Rodolfo Cuaderno, he is survived by his parents, Charles and Angelita Cuaderno; his brother Mark Cuaderno, both of Spotswood; his paternal grandmother, Febronia Cuaderno; his aunts and uncles, Cynthia and Vicente Cu, Lulu and Joseph Quitasol, Natee and Edgardo Anolin, Virginia and Victor Ferriols, Arnulfo Cuaderno, Connie Cuaderno, Felicidad and Castor Marasigan, Gerardo and Margi Perez, Beatriz and Benjie Maghirang and, Joselito and Roselle Perez.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Spotswood Funeral Home, however, due to our ongoing construction, the family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Lester Memorial Home, 16 West Church Street, Jamesburg. Funeral services will begin with a 10:15 AM Mass of Christian Burial from Immaculate Conception Church on Monday morning followed by cremation at Holy Cross Crematory, East Brunswick.
