Obituary

Clemenceau de Mesa, 57, of Marlboro, New Jersey passed away on Monday, May 4, 2020 in Holmdel, NJ.

Born and raised in Manila, Philippines, fondly called by family and friends as Clem.  He moved to the United States in 1991, first living in Staten Island, New York before moving to New Jersey in 1998, and settling in Marlboro, NJ in 2005.  He worked as a computer programmer in Florida for a year, and in the IT department in a Japanese firm in Staten Island, NY for 5 years before working in Austin, TX for IBM, and United Airlines.  For the past 18 years, he was employed as a customer service representative for United Airlines based in Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey and Austin–Bergstrom International Airport in Texas. Clem traveled extensively around the world and enjoyed taking his family with him on his adventures. He loved swimming and hiking along various nature trails. Clem was always smiling, ready for a laugh, and the life of the party wherever he went. Clem was a shining light in this world, so selfless, full of love, and always brings joy everywhere he goes.

Predeceased by his father Benedicto in 1999, his mother Lety in April this year, and his sister Rita in 1994, he is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Pamela Publico-de Mesa; his children, Philip and Priscilla; his siblings, Jun and his wife Irene, Napoleon and his wife Ellen, Jack, Liberty and her husband Rich, and Joan.
