Gaetano "Guy" DeCeglie

Gaetano DeCeglie. 63, of East Brunswick, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 25, 2022, after a brief illness.

Born and raised in Hoboken, Guy settled in East Brunswick in 1990. He retired last year after more than 40 years with Pritchard Industries of New York City, NY, where he did commercial building maintenance. Guy was hard working and in his spare time enjoyed watching vintage TV shows and movies, trips to the racetracks and the beach. In his younger years, he enjoyed disco music and dancing. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and New York Jets, as well as the New Jersey Devils. He loved spending time with his family and his pets.

Predeceased by his father Mario DeCeglie, he is survived by his wife of 39 years, Anny, of East Brunswick, his daughter, Natalie Ruggiero and her husband Joseph of East Brunswick; his mother Maria, a sister Vincenza Cirillo, and; his grandchildren Mia and Adrianna.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 27th, form 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood. Interment will follow in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.

In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Guy's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
