John Liquari, 77, of Spotswood passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, April 15, 2021.
Born and raised in Jersey City, John settled in Spotswood in 1968. He retired in 2010 from the Maintenance Department of Piscataway High School. For many years, John was a Boy Scout Troop Leader for a special needs group of scouts in East Brunswick and a member of the former Spotswood First Aid Squad. John was a quiet man who enjoyed camping and family functions.
John is predeceased by his siblings, Dolores, Rita and Tony. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Paula, of Spotswood; his children Kathy Kovar and husband Tom of Bayville, Debbie Flynn and husband Kerry of Virginia, Michael and his companion Laura DeLaura of Pennsylvania, Brian of Spotswood and Tricia Rowicki and husband Matt of Warren; his sisters Kathy Greene and Germain Hayes, and; his grandchildren Kerry, Jr, Matthew, Ethan and Dylan.
Cremation was private. The family will receive friends at a Memorial Gathering to remember John's life on Sunday, October 17th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Spotswood Funeral Home 475 Main Street, Spotswood.
