Louis P. Pietz

Louis P. Pietz, 75, of Monroe Township passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick.

Born in Bayonne, Louis was raised in Spotswood and settled in Monroe Township in 1975. For more than 50 years, he was the owner and operator of P+M Auto Body in Old Bridge, retiring  in 2017. He was a classic car buff, enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. He also enjoyed just hanging out with his friends who he loved dearly, at his body shop. He was an avid fly fisherman and looked forward to his trips to upstate New York with his fishing buddies.

Predeceased by his parents, Louis and Myreal Pietz and his sister, Myreal Sikorski, he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Eydie Pietz; his daughters, Eva Marie Pietz, Felecia Pietz and Staci McDonough, her husband Joseph, grandchildren Kira and Aiden, and; his brother Robert Pietz.

Funeral services are private at this time. A celebration of life will be announced by Louis' family at a later date.
