Mary Titone, 90, of Spotswood, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Mary settled in Spotswood in 2011. She was passionate about her faith and loved to speak to everyone about the love of Jesus. A devout and deeply religious Catholic woman, Mary was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Spotswood. She worked for many years as a Bus Matron/Paraprofessional in the education field dealing with hearing impaired children in Queens, New York. She was very family oriented and enjoyed spending time with all her family, especially her grandchildren and all of their activities. All her Grandchildren and their friends called Mary "Mama" when they were around her. She enjoyed dining out with family, helping others, donating to causes she was passionate about, and she loved animals.
Predeceased by her daughter Deborah Ann Titone-Johnson in 1990, her husband Thomas in 2004, her siblings Josephine Mangiacapre, Paul Bouno and John Bonanno and, her son-in-law Ralph Oliva in 2012, Mary is survived by her daughter Leonore Oliva; her Grandchildren Raymond Oliva and wife Jennifer, Thomas Oliva and wife Giselle, and Ralph Oliva, Jr. and his wife Jena' her Great-Grandchildren Raymond, Jr., Brandon, Autymn, Lena, Amelia, Juliana, Sofia, Aviana and Valentina, and; many nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
Funeral services will begin at 9:30 AM, Wednesday, December 14th from Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 AM on Wednesday from Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood, followed by burial in Ocean View Cemetery, 3315 Amboy Road, Staten Island, New York. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 13th, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Mary's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
