Michael Lewental, 56, of Brooklyn, New York, beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, at HMH Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, New Jersey.
Born in Poland, Michael lived in Brooklyn for most of his life. He worked for Casa del Bianco Fine Linens, Inc. of New York City for the past 22 years as an executive assistant. Michael was a kind, gentle, quiet man who went out of his way to help others. He enjoyed watching old TV game shows on Buzzr, catching up on his favorite soap operas, listening to pop music, tinkering with retro computers and compiling family genealogy. He was an avid Star Trek and sci-fi fan who knew an extraordinary amount of trivia about retail and the fast-food industry.
Predeceased by his parents, Frank and Wanda (Duda) Lewental, his siblings, Barbara Puk and Jerry Keller. He is survived by his brother, Mark Lewental and Mark’s wife, Nancy; and many nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, April 14th, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood, New Jersey. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Michael’s memory may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
