Teodora Carrero

Teodora Carrero, 94, of Old Bridge passed away peacefully on Monday, March 14, 2022 at her residence.

Born and raised in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, Teodora came to live in Brooklyn, New York in the early 1960s and settled in Old Bridge in 2018. She was a loving, caring wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed sewing, watching soap operas, cooking Saturday dinners for her family and caring for her pets.

Predeceased by her husband Conrado in 1992, her daughter Teresa Santana and her siblings Francisco and Marianita Nunez, she is survived by her children Martha Lebron and her husband Pedro, Carmen Velez and her husband Luis and Norma Colon and her husband Victor; her sister Teresa Nunez, and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 18th, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Spotswood Funeral Home 475 Main Street, Spotswood. Cremation will be private. A committal of ashes will take place on Saturday, March 26th at 2:00 PM at Fernwood Cemetery, Forsgate Drive, Jamesburg.
