Theodore Lloyd Watrous, 75, of South River, passed away on Wednesday, July 15th in New Brunswick.
Born in New London, Connecticut, Ted was raised in New Brunswick and also lived in Monroe Twp. and South River before settling in Castleton, New York several years ago. He was a self employed truck driver for 50 years, retiring in 2013. He enjoyed collecting classic cars and spending time outdoors. he had a great sense of humor, enjoyed living life on his terms and very proud of his stubbornness.
Predeceased by his wife, Barbara in 2013, he is survived by his children, Allen, Maryann Bloss and her husband Stephen Squires, George Manning and his partner William and April Zaimov and her husband Alex; his sister Margaret Goodwin; his grandchildren, Theodore, Shawn,Allen, Jr, Matthew, Michelle, Kimberly, Ethan, Connor, Sarah and Ian, and; his great-grandchildren, Gracie, Emma and Olivia.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 18th from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood. Cremation will be private. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions placed on gatherings and activities, all current guidelines are to be observed during visitations, including the use of face coverings and social distancing.
