Wayne John Conroy

Wayne J. Conroy, 71, of Monroe Township passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021.

Born and raised in Jersey City, Wayne lived in Old Bridge Township for many years before settling in Monroe Township 6 years ago. He retired in 2015 from KT Marine of Perth Amboy after 40 years of service, where he worked as a diver performing underwater construction and also as a tug boat captain. He enjoyed spending time on and near the water, football and NASCAR racing.

Predeceased by his parents Martin and Emily Conroy and his brothers, Joseph and Shawn Conroy, he is survived by his siblings Karen Seevers and her husband Charles of North Carolina and Martin Conroy and his wife Clem of Manalapan; his sister-in-law, Joan Conroy; a step-daughter, Janice Barker Taylor, and; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 2nd from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM with a blessing to be offered at 11:30 AM. Interment will then follow in Forest Green Park Cemetery, Texas Road, Morganville.
